Yep, that's messy - where is this and how much rain have you had?

Looks like a lot more than 'normal' - whatever that is these days!

If all this snow melts quickly we will be in the same boat.

There was a fair amount of water, although nothing very unusual. For example:

Before:

And same place few days later, the water level is already falling:

You can see that water was much higher by the debries left on a meadow:

Apparently it was rather bad in Soca valley, with record levels of water.

But it is possible to assume that this years spawning of brown trout was affected by this.

The picture from first post is a laterally unstable channel.

Flygirl, sorry, but i have decided not to give the names of my favorite rivers/stretches on forum anymore, as it might attract turists as well as local and by expiriences so far, fishing quality would go down the drain like Soca and other popular waters. I am well aware that most people think highly of Soca, Bohinjka etc., well, even better... There are still some nice wild parts over here, withouth "trophies" and "wild" fish etc. and if they would become too well known..... I mentioned them before and at least one forum member from Uk also fished those waters, they are opened for turists and anyone is welcome.
