All caught on an unweighted size 16 pink shrimp nymph. Total of 14 for the day but these were the prettiest. Have to love the colors on the Char and the Browns!

Fantastic Terry, what beautiful fish. You certainly christened that Sage with a bang.
Is that a Lamson reel you have on it, it's perfect, really looks the biz.

Nothing that modern, it's my old Fenwick Nighthawk. Still one of the best reels around according to me.

As to the where, it's a place down near Verdun but here's the url so you can see yourself: http://www.fly-in-sommedieue.com/def...l/page-34.html

For people who are in Paris on business or for pleasure they've got a special deal where you can take the high speed train to Verdun and they come and get you plus they've got equipment for rent.

As you can tell from the hooks on the browns and the char it is going to be breeding season soon. Caught a couple of other char as well, they were females with lovely pink bellies but not as flamboyant as the males.
