The troots weren't big but they were plentiful - it was fun

had a few days up at the Braan. nice place to fish and plenty of them. How far up did you go and what fly did they take as i dont recongnise it in the pictures

Thanks for posting Strathearn,beats the hell out of watching Midsommer murders.
Love the markings on the first trout.
Can you please let us all know the tying of the Yank style terrestrial.

I was fishing just below Amulree.

The fly is a Turk's Tarantual - or my attempt at tying one... Its a big terrestrial, I've done well with a ballon caddis in the past so I thought I'd up the anti I hung a nymph below it but the dry out fished it about 2:1.
