Fabulous fish. You really do have it good in the US. I recently fished the Upper Kern River in California during a family holiday and had a 4lb rainbow - quite an experience. 25 miles of great river to choose from all for the price of a $13 state licence. We generally have to pay 3 times that for a few hundred yards of river over here - sometimes much more in the South of England.
