Roach are like lightening!Not a bad size at all either.

What flies/tactics did you use?

Had a few of them that afternoon.

Was fishing a floater with three flies over an inlet. Was just letting the flies drift around through the swell while keeping in touch with the flies.

That one took a GRHE with an orange head, and the rest came to a red holo diawl bach (good guess Tomr!). You right about how fast they take, missed 3 times as many as I hooked.

Had trout as well at the same time and they were feeding on green daphnia.
