Default First Brown Trout on the Fly

I did some fly fishing on the Ribble today with guide Mike Roden. I started off fishing New Zealand style with a goldhead pheasant tail and a balloon caddis. I soon had two fish to the net on the nymph, and also a salmon parr. I missed a few more and missed one on the dry.

Then we switched over to downstream and upstream spiders and I had this one that was getting on for 2lb.

Nice fish Kcon1!

Is that the Mitton beat? I've only fished there once, it was very low and I blanked. Seeing those fish makes me want to try again.

Well done.

Yep it was at Mitton a bit further upstream than the day ticket stretch.
