Default Tiger Trout Pictures

Managed a few trout tonight but this was a surprise

The trout faught well and was returned safely to the water.

It was caught on a small balloon caddis.

nice looking fish, heard of them and seen other photos but never been lucky enough to see one in the flesh or catch one.

Lovely looking fish Beacon, if this was caught in a non-stocked water it may well be there are Brook trout about mate!

My local Fishery Alderneuk has put in a few Tigers, i had one just over three pounds
beautiful looking Fish and fought like the Devil.

As I said before it was my first encounter and what a trout it was , The fight and sheer beauty was a great experience.

I am told they are bottom feeders but the trout hammered a size 16 balloon caddis.

i to caught my first tiger 2 weeks ago i was over the moon with it and it gave a good scrap as well ...i got mine from bangour ..... i know for a fact they are alot of them getting caught just now as they become ready to spawn thay are very aggressive ...the pier on the dam has been holding a load ... tight lines.
