Default Big Sheelin Trout

Here is a picture of a scruffy old girl from Sheelin caught by Tony Harton L.S.T.P.A. the other night . I dont know tony but i am sure he will not mind the picture put up in here as it has been posted all over the place . I just thought i would put it in here for those who have not seen it .Click the image to open in full size.
The actual weight is not known but it is put at 10 lbs + If you look at the wrist on the tail and see it is as thick as Tony's Wrist this will give you an idea of just how large that fish is .
It is the fact Sheelin holds many big fish that keeps me going though the blank days and all the more keen to learn as much as i can about this flyfishing lark as this is my first season at trout fishing proper

Tremendous!!!

Stunning fish, those spots are just madness!

Did it go back?

Has the fish been in the wars at all, or is the tail just folded back?

I've seen many bigger Sheelin fish than this and most of them were immaculate. This one is indeed a bit scruffy on the tail and dorsal fin and I'm not sure why - cracking fish though.
