i caught these after struggling for most of the day with the wind howling at me down river, casting a single dry fly was nigh on impossible,so i decided to use a klink and weighted ptn in hope that it would straighten the leader enough to get some kind of presentation,
then as i approached the bottom of a fast run of water i could see a trout rising
a cast was attempted and no sooner had the klink hit the water it was engulfed,
the average size of the trout in this river are around 8-10 inch so i thought i was in for something special as what i thought was a good trout leading me a right merry dance turned out to be two chub, one on the ptn and one on the klink,
what a struggle that is trying to land two fish on the same line,
great fun though, they where quickly photographed and returned safely,
anyone else experienced this
