here is a nice wee fish i caught this afternoon on the river which was looking good for the little bit of water it received last night ,as the trout were more active.

Cracking fish! What did you get it on derek? And where aboots?

Need to get myself onto the river really soon, got my exams this week and next but i'l be out after that! Been on menteith and done a bit on stillwaters but get to get onto the river.

i took that one on a hares ear nymph size 14 from the run just above the sea-pool and i also had another 2 further up at the park on olive klinkhammers size 14 ,,and a few smolt,but just cant stress how much the rain is needed ,,and allot of it mate.
