Had a nice afternoons fishing in the boat at this very peacefull loch.I have fished it for over 28years and it is picturesque and the wildlife is superb.Woodpeckers hammering away and owls hooting and the occasional stag wanders by.The fish have never been renowned for being of any size but thats not to say they dont fight well, most are around the pound mark but it is excellent sport and a good day out. With a few fish between my son and I it past a few good hours away and was very enjoyable.
The loch is called millbuies.

Morayflyfisher,

It's nice to see some photo's of Millbuies. I used to fish there back in the late 1980's.
It had some good browns then that stayed hard into the banks and were hard to catch.

Thanks for the post.
Amber

Looks very nice MFF, a bit of cloud cover, a nice ripple, and fishing with your son, what more could a man ask for.

Hi amber not many browns caught now but its a very nice place to spend afew hours fishing, the only downside is too many people walking around it being council run and public aswell. But I have always enjoyed it.
You are spot on Mr trout couldnt ask for more and thats what fishing is all about.
