Cap'n Fishy will become famous soon enough
Default River Tweed yesterday

A tad bright and nothing rising! John got a decent one on wets first thing. It needs to do some exercises to tone itself up - look at that flabby belly! (The one on the fish, I mean )

I wouldn't want to give a false impression - the reason I took the photos at the bit I did was because it was a right picturesque wee spot. Having said that, we walked several miles up and down and there is plenty fishable water. A lot of it was maybe a bit low and clear for a right sunny day though.

If you've got the Peeblesshire Trout Fishing Association ticket (that's what we have) you have access to 25 miles of water (save a few private stretches), from way upstream of Drumelzier to way downstream of Walkerburn.

Cheers,

Col
