Default Sweethope Loughs

Came across these in my pics, I took them at Sweethope, Nov 2007, with a mobile phone. The boat one came second in a the O2 magazine, (To a pic of a cat sniffing a snail!) Thought Id share them with you.

HI' PM. Those are really nice pictures, and they bring back some happy memories of trips from Penrith -- Chollerford -- and points north, to Fontburn as well. My old mate and I used to go over the old jokes about "Wahkin' te Wawk" and "Wawking' te Wahk" and the old reply to the doctor, "Gan te wawk? I canna wahk, nivver mind wawk!" I'm not a Geordie, nor am I a Northumbrian, but I was born only a mile or so from the borders of Northumbria and Durham, and raised on the banks of the South Tyne, at Alston. And I'm old enough to have seen Wor Jackie play at St. James's Park. Thanks for your post. TerryC
