Where was it caught from? If there are more of the same size or bigger, I'm on my way 'Nfld' is only a 4 -5 hour flight from Heathrow, just a bit further than cyprus is!

"Sagey", It was caught from shore in a "tidal" pond called Harrys' Pond in the community of Salmon Cove Carbonear, Conception Bay, NFLD / Nl. Some further specs == Length=107 cm.( 42ins. )

9 ins. "deep"

5 ins. across the back

Scale samp==12 yrs. old

This one was taken the week previous and weighed in at 22 lbs. unable to gather further details

The "BIG" one was caught on what we "locals" refer to as "The Nail", a home made lure made from ....a nail common or galvanized with a trebble at one end and a swivel at the other . usually finished in "red" nail polish ...(allthough these past cuppla' years a "PINK" version has proven to be MORE effective )

Still stickin'........ Avalon/ Andrew
