Well done Donnie, it is indeed the River Carron, a much improved river under the sound management of the Larbert and Stenhousemuir Angling Club. The photograph was taken a mile or so above Larbert.

I've fished that pool John, but wasn't sure, so it was more of a guess than anything.

The L & S A.C. are doing a great job and the other replies on thread are testament to that. I really enjoy these river quizzes.
