My boat partner caught this nice bow yesterday at Eskragh Lough near Dungannon it was approx 5.5lb ,i didn't get much time to take the photo as the fish was returned very quickly .

Default 5lb fish my ******

What!!

Mate your hand measurements are letting you down. There's no way that's 5lb, I would give it about 3lb.Mate I want a re weigh and your hands offically measured!!

Have to agree with Saracen, unless your boat partner is about 7ft 6' with hands like shovels I would estimate the wee troot to be about 3½-4lb max

We'll get you official measures for next time

Well lads having handled millions of trout in my career as a hatchery and fish farm manager i'll have to pull rank on this one ,the picture does not do the trout justice as it was a quick snap with my camera phone before Mervyn released the fish ,he didn't want to drop the fish that was why he had it in close in to his body .It was easily 5 lb i should know i netted the ****** for him

Bear,

I like the way your all your experience is through handling fish as a fishery manager and not actually catching them!!! Keep up the good work!!!
It's hard to soar like a eagle when you working with turkeys!!!!
