Default Spot The Fishes

Another one for the forum herons.
How many fish and, so we don't get folk just pulling random numbers out of the air, where are they
Bonus points if you can sex them. It should be obvious what they are up to at this time of year.

No not eight, there are definitely not 5 above the 2 in the middle!

Four isn’t the right answer either

If i knew how to do it i would circle what appears to be 4 small trout/parr hanging about above the middle 2 .probably waiting to get some eggs.
I aso noticed 1 possibly, directly below the tail of the back middle fish.

OK I'll go for 5 fish

Jim

I think I know what you are looking at Jim but I promise you those are small stones with ripples over them. Easy mistake to make though, I once spent half an hour trying to catch a slmon that turned out to be a stone

Too quick for me with your edit Jim, 5 it is
You did well to spot No. 5.
A bit clearer here, as you say right against the cock fishes tail.

I would say the same as Carl.
Three in the middle with two being big and a smaller one tucked in behind them and two smaller ones top and bottem right.

WCB

PS Have i seen this picture before as it rings bells with me?
