Default Caenis like they used to be

Came across this 20-odd year old photo of a Caenis hatch on Loch Watten. Used to get hatches like that on several waters, including Loch Leven, but have not seen them in these sort of numbers for a long time. Are they on the decline?

Thats a great pic and im sure i have looked like that myself plenty of times. I dont fish the places i used fish 10 years ago so its hard to say if they are in a decline but there was huge hatches on a local water i fish this year and last.
