Just back from another enjoyable day on the River Wye at Monsal. Beautiful sunny morning followed by several hours of torrential rain

You made the move going there and not where you wanted to go with RoyIt poured down and the river came up big time.

Thanks Andrew, Fossil. Would have been nice to have got a head-on shot but composing underwater shots is a bit tricky

Neil, very modestly, neglected to mention that he also had a shed load of fish..it really was an excellent day despite the monsoon.

Monsal isn't 'dry only' so fished dries, emergers and nymphs

Techie photo question - I've noticed that photobucket is altering the colour balance when I import photos (so I can post them here). For example, the colours on the last brownie above are much more vivid before import. Anyone know why?
