Just a couple of a nice brownie caught in Salisbury. Mind the chavs on the back cast!

Good looking trout M.

Love all this bleeding edge, urban exploration too. Gnarly, hardcore, tough gig, etc etc.

Yeah it was pretty Intense TM. Salisbury is chavtastic by the way!

We nearly decided to stay the night due to the multiple filthy sorts flocking in for a night on the razz...but I was not too keen on the prospect of losing some teeth, so wimped out and headed back to London.

yeah you should try out some of Glasgow's lovely inner city rivers they offer multiple action games on the river bank ,like dodge the Bucky bottle and the good old fifty stitches usually played with a knife welding madman ,and many more that others have had the privilege of playing, it can be dangerous out their on urban waters by the way what wonderfull looking trout.

You are right Urban - but it adds to the fun and the enjoyment of catching wild trout in such places. I must have spoken to at least ten people who were interested in what we were doing including some of the track suit brigade - maybe they will pick up a rod.

the gods weep, this is Salisbury we're talking about, not Glasgow or any other major city come to that. A rough night in Salisbury is when charcoal grill or chickoland run out of ketchup!

The River doesn't even run through the priory or Bemerton Heath so you didn't get close to the only rough parts

Apart from that I'm really pleased you had a good day, told you there'd be some OK fish, just guess it'll have to be next time for the 20+ inchers...
