A nice wild brown of 6lbs 2ozs from Glen of rothes trout fishery.made my day to catch such a nice fish.

hi mr trout
it was a floating line with a silver invicta on point and a kate mclaren on dropper and it was the kate which he took .gave me alot of pleasure putting such a fine fish back in the water.

I tried the Kate Mclaren Straggler for the first time last tuesday, and had a couple of beauties with it on a notoriously stiff local loch.

It does need a bit of sunlight to get it working fully but i can thoroughly recommend it for bright days if you have not already fished it.

with the set up i thought you were on a boat, but looking it seems the fish was caught from the bank ,what a beauty I'm very envious and a big hand for the return of such a lovely trout.
