When I was up in Islay about 4 years ago, the man who runs the village store was going to lend me some fly gear as I hadn't brought any. I never took up his offer but now wish I had.

It's on Islay and is open to the Atlantic weather but the fishing is worth the trip and yes the wee, or not so wee noo, lad gubbed me again. But next year...................

My father was born on Islay and a lot of his family still stay up there , I have a cousin who fishes Gorm a lot and has been fishing it for years . Not been in Islay for a few years now but im planning a visit in the not too near future .
