Was on Carron today. Had 3, dropped a couple and missed some more offers. was fishing C&R but this fish was bleeding when I got it in so I knocked it on the head. You will be hard pushed to find better looking stocked fish anywhere in my opinion. 1lb 8oz and fought like 5lb.

If it had been a boxing match, the referree would have stopped the fight before I got the net wet. It took line back three or four times and did 2 laps of the boat before I could think about trying to net it. Changeboy had one like it in the world qualifiers. Fit as F, taking line, laping the boat etc. He was shocked when he saw the size of it. This for me is what flyfishing is all about. I would happily fish for this size and type of fish all the time.

Terrific specimen looks so much like the fish we stock our syndicate water with would be intresting to know if he gets them at the same place AE must go now tight-lines
