Fascinating Warren, I remember when I was about 13, my friends and I used to loiter around the local golf course offering to carry bags for the day. One particular day stands out. It was when we used to have HOT summers. I'd been hoiking this "Gentlemans" bags all day and upon our arrival at the 19th hole I expected my usual gratuity. He put his bags in the back of his car and made his way to the clubhouse. I gave the old butlers cough, to no avail and finally asked him for my tip.
