Default Loch Awe trip, wild browns.

Hi all, my annual pilgrimage to Loch Awe and Avich yeilded a few nice trout and some interesting vistas. For your perusal a few photos.

This was our greeting after a 6 hour drive to the cottage we stayed at in Ford, nice.

Loch Etive at the bottom of the driveway, apparently holding some nice pike.

In the garden.

Then we took to water, 2 fish all day but well worth it. I landed a cracking fish out about 2lb on a yellow mayfly pattern. Alas, during the commotion I didn't get the shot. The fish took the fly with much gusto after I trickled the fly accross the waves, the setting and the fish were perfect.

After the Day on Loch Awe I visited Loch Avich, a great place with some fiesty trout and millions of midgies, Yikes!
