Default Forum Corrib Outing

Just some pictures of the forum trip to Corrib, 17th/18th May.
Our thanks to Gavan for organizing and looking after us over the weekend. The fishing was a mixed bag, but all of us caught trout, some large some small, but more importantly we all had a great week end and already plans are a foot for a repeat.

Nice one Stylie, good snaps.
The rest of us need to add our photos in due course. There are some nice ones of the fish including Cuilleog's 4.25 lb'er.
A fantastic weekend and thanks to all those who took part especially those who had to travel a long way, it was great craic with a great bunch of guy's and Gal's, roll on round 2! looking forward to it already.

It was a fantastic weekend, we had great craic, I couldn't have wished for a better group of lads and lady. The fishing was a bit slow but we all managed to catch, some very nice fish too. Thanks to Gavan for organising the get together and for working as a boatman all weekend, getting very little fishing in himself, it was appreciated. It was my first time on Corrib, but will not be the last, it such a beautiful part of the world. Here are a few of my photos.

With the weather on Friday the way it was, the lough reminded more of bonefishing territory.

So this is pretty much what we ended up doing, we enjoyed ourselves.

As everyone has so far said this was a brilliant trip!

Thanks to Gavan for organising it and transporting Murt and I all over the Lough; Noel for the excellent chafuering; and everyone else who was there that made it so much fun!
It was a long couple of days travelling, but well worth it to meet such a fine bunch of people!
Just a few more photo's of our trip.
