As described in the rivers thread, conditions have been swinging around from one extreme to the other, but since the season started, I have managed to take advantage on a couple of occasions. It is always exciting to explore a beat, and my first visit to the upper river didn't disappoint. Not many rising fish, but enough to put a smile on my face:
