Default Early Spring on the Upper Monnow

As described in the rivers thread, conditions have been swinging around from one extreme to the other, but since the season started, I have managed to take advantage on a couple of occasions. It is always exciting to explore a beat, and my first visit to the upper river didn't disappoint. Not many rising fish, but enough to put a smile on my face:

Well spotted, and first on the dry this season:

You'd fancy your chances here though wouldn't you?

Default Spring cleaning.

Hi Tigermoth

Nice condition fish for early season...well done

And with a week off and nothing to do.......I would highly recomend going fishing.....it would be very rude to waste your time.
After all, with all this snow, the run off could swell the rivers. So "make on"

That's not a half bad idea, it's just sodding cold. Tough job but someone has to do it.
