We were going out for a beach BBQ in the boat with the kids and some friends. I had the 10wt ready just in case. I saw some bait fish so slowed down to have a look. A pod of Queenfish came in snapping and I managed to fire a cast off. Two strips and it was all on.
My son came bounding down the boat for a look, when the fish came out of the water for a quick photo he bailed back, I looked at the shot and he's stunned/frightened. Makes me laugh (he's only 4).
The mates who don't fish were very impressed 'It's massive'
I was king for the rest of the day!
