Nice. Have yet to find the fish on Sarclet in a taking mood, maybe this year!

Gander,
Great photograph of what, even is scarred, is a beautiful fish.

Really enjoyed the article.

Chuileog,
Since I made the move to wild trout fishing, one of my biggest problems has been finding that I still have the tendancy to hang about in the same spot for too long, as if Rainbow fishing. I have been trying to train myself to keep on the move, but at Sarclet, I consciously decided to concentrate on that southern tip of the loch. I only moved up and down a 300 yrd or so stretch of that East bank, but even during the quieter spells, I was convinced my flies were over fish. That narrowing end of the loch, just shouts fish to me and is well worth a concentrated effort, in my opinion. I am hoping to get up there again this year, and I certainly know where I'll be starting on that loch.

All the best next time you are there.
