Cool Easter Rainbows

Even the gale force winds couldn't stop us catching 20 rainbows between two of us on Good Friday.Set up is a budget priced Grey's g series rod and reel with a greys platinum hi viz floating line;

Default Brave or Insane?

Hi Phil-k

I've been bored silly......the Grayling season ended 15th and the trout doesnt start till 25th in Yorkshire(10 days no fishing )....thats rivers of course.....even ended up at Asda yesterday sho*****

Looking at the met charts for tom and Monday looks cold but no wind so WILL be out somewhere on a stillwater just to retain my sanity.

Well done for braving the elements and it just goes to prove that you can't catch em sat in your armchair......you've gotta GO.....and they still have to feed at some time.

All mine were on a white and orange woollie worm fished on the drop.The line needs to be fairly low diameter for good presentation and so far I have used 4.75lb Grande Max Riverge;
