Default Rosslynlee

Another good day at Rosslynlee fishery today.

The wind was blowing hard, making it really difficult to get a line out, but persistance paid off with these 2 nice fish, one 5lb and the other 3lb.
Both were taken on a Yellow Dancer.
The second image is of my son.

Hi Linebar, I haven`t fished Loganlea for a few years now, but I used to enjoy going there, will probably get up this season sometime.

The other reservior I used up that way was Glencorse, some really good early season to be had, especialy when the Brook trout are about, thats what I called them but I was never sure, as they look so like Char, maybe someone can enlighten me.

Glencorse has been under new management for a few years now Scott....theres not been any brookies put in there for a long time. The fishing is still good though...I can recommend it.

Hi Alec,i`m sure someone told me it is a syndicate water now.Heard that at Rosslynlee last year.We were at Bangour not so long ago but it was after a lot of heavy rain so the water was very dirty.Made it difficult fishing but i had the biggest goldie i`ve ever seen come up for my indicator, massive it was.One of my mates had a cracking brownie about 6lbs that day.
