Loch Doon is right on my doorstep, i have to confess i hardly ever fish it now! However it's been fishing quite well over the past few years. There seem to be some bigger fish being caught too. Plenty of 8 and 9''inch trout to be had. There are others on the forum that could tell you better than me....

The Mill Leat stretch of the river Nar.
There has been a nice showing of small brownies in there this season so I'm determined to fish it this year!
