Nice kipper Josh , but beaching it ,thats one of my pet hates salmon anglers are the most annoying, wittering on about preserving the stocks of there fish and then they beach there fish on gravel whats the point of teaching anglers to take care of there catch if one is going to drag the fish up a gravel bank? Dont forget yer net next time or why not land it in the water , thats what waders are for

Beaching fish isnt as bad on the fish as people think, they are not made of glass they are tough and hardy as nature intended. Watch salmon and trout running to their spawning beds and you will see them get knocked around off waterfalls and weirs a lot worse than being beached at the waters edge.

Salmon the king of fish.Yer but there is no reason to do it,and it looks bloody terrible to joe public, whom are the voice of the land and we dont want them supporting the anti-angling brigade. We have to protect our sport so we must show we take care of our quarry, using a net isnt a problem unless you only have one arm
