Default Julia's First Fish of the day on the Missouri River

This was Julia's first fish of the day on the Missouri River in Montana. Julia and her husband have come from Munich, Germany for the past three years to fish with us. This fish was caught September 27, 2007. We were ripping streamers along the banks as well as working along weed beds. As a guide, this was one of the best rainbows I guided this season.

Is that a bubble float hanging in the background?

I can't wait, i will be returning to Livingston Montana during July and spending 1 day on the spring creeks and a float trip down the Yellowstone.
Wild rainbows in thier natural surroundings.

Don't quote me on this but I think you might have to travel a little further west to find rainbow trout in their natural surroundings.

Default Nope.

By the looks of it, it's called a 'corkie' used as an indicator. Corkies (zillion different colour combos) are usually used as 'bait' for fishing for steelhead.

It is an indicator. When working heavier rigs on the bottom they tend to be more boyant and better visability.
