Default November Theme

Well, here we are again...November and apart from a few hardy Grayling enthusiasts, that's it for most of us.....until the even hardier Salmon boys start shaking ice off their lines in the bleak mid winter
Looks like we're set in for 5 months of grey skies and 5 minutes a day of decent light,if yer lucky! Not the best for photo opportunities.
So,to cheer us all up and re-live past glories of the season (or any other season), lets see yer 'Favourite fishing photo...EVER'
Could be you landing a big one...or releasing it. Could be yer mate after taking a plunge in the Ridge pool! Or maybe a stunning sunset over Loch Lomond?
Here's yer chance to share, inform, educate, entertain,or just indulge in a bit of good old fashioned showing off....don't hold back, even if we've seen em before...post em again.Dig out yer bestest bunch of pixels boys and give us something to grin about.

I'll get the ball rolling with the first (and probably last) time someone has taken a decent shot of me fishing. I love it,in fact I wish I'd taken it... but then I wouldn't be on it would I ? Taken by Edenangler on our recent trip to Inverpolly.

Campbell,
Yes he is, at present he's working on paintings of local rivers, with the history of the river systems and the fish within them.........i'm looking forward to the finished paintings/prints! I think he's doing the Deugh system, i'm really interested in it. However he's also doing the river Doon, so it'll be ideal for me too!

This was a familiar scene to most of us last season, this is Gladhouse Reservoir on a very wet day,my favourite local place to fish.

A proper buzzer hatch in the margins of a loch on North Uist.We called it Oban nan Scone because of the amount of fish we caught.

Some very nice pics there Jimmy. Been out on Gladhouse in weather like that a couple of times, still a great place to fish. Haven't been to Portmore for a while. How is it working out with the new set-up?
