Default Last Days of the Season

For one nostalgic reason or the other my father and I decided to fish a river we had not fished in years. The weather over here has been terrible for backend fishing, rivers are at Summer levels so we didnt expect any trout and we were not dissappointed . Still we fit in five rivers, fished one and walked a large section of a club we are thinking of joining, quite an interesting day walking throughly wild country, and my one regret was not taking enough pictures

Easy does it...

Next years water, hopefully for the grand old sum of 25euro

Here is a small few Corrib ones still in the camera..
It was very dark and we were coming into Portacarron passing through the Bog Bay, turning around Garby Island we came across a huge amount of terns feeding on a sedge hatch, 60 plus birds, more than I see for a duck fly hatch, so many they where taking our flies of the water. If I didnt see it I wouldnt have believed it, birds everywhere, flies everywhere and not a poxy trout interested

I have a few others that I must photoshop/edit and upload. If any Corrib anglers have witness'd this in the middle of Sept let me know it was truly unusual
