Default Late season Monnow brownies

A fantastic late september session on an utterly wild and private (in the auction) beat gave me the finest days dry fly fishing I have had all season. Here is a selection of photos and a few of the fish from the day - and no there are no duplicate pictures, though some look like they may be related

Some great photographs there TM. What a lovely little river and what a fitting closer to the season. That fish in photo 6 & 7 has some fantastic colouration.

No fishporn is complete without a glistening SLT and Lamson LA

yes, I also appreciated the SLT (having just bought one myself) and the reel porn as well.

For me the photo with the flyline on the water with the mountain as a backdrop is the best though. thats a really great shot TM.

It looks like the same fish. No wonder that trout is looking more ****** off in the second photo! And just to think he'd have only got caught the once if he'd been a Hodder fish.
