I had a week in Montana a couple of weeks ago before driving to California

I caught this 16" beauty in late evening from a small tumbling creek about the width of a traffic lane, On a royal wulff. My best from the river was about 17" which is pretty good for such a small stream

I also had an 18" cutbow (rainbow cutthroat hybrid) from a different river.
