Well done Neil..as has been said, that is the right way to treat a fish if you are going to return it. Hope your next one is a lunker.

Thanks all, am I right in thinking micromesh would be better if releasing? If so, does anyone know where I can buy replacement netting?

The fly was given to me by a regular at the lake - I think it is a stonefly nymph.

Not quite a lunker, but a bit bigger . Bransford again - this time from one of the catch and keep lakes
