We didn't have any trouble with them until the Sunday morning. It was still, warm and damp, perfect for the little blighters By the time we had packed up and moved onto the water they had gone again. I have been told they are scarce above 3000 feet and we were fishing at 2400 so either we were too early for them at this height or we were at their limit. The weather hasn't been to their liking this year either, too cool and windy

Sandy,

Now I don't mind a wee bit of a hill walk to reach a trout loch..... but that's taking things too far!

Great pictures.
