Yes, TM that is a nice trout alright, in fact it is a real cracker. And, my word, you have had some water down that river by the looks of things. Glad to see the it's getting back to fishing order. Would love to come and give it a go sometime.

CHeers for the nice comments guys. I reckon the main river will be spot on for the second half of this week, so long as we get no more rain. Frankly, after that trout, I dont care if I dont catch another fish all season.

Mr D? Impressed? Yes, after a fashion... not on the dry you see For interest, Mr D measured the fish at a goodly 18"
