this was me catching a fish in a thunderstorm in a comp on the the 1st of july,i just thought it was a great composition

went on to catch 4 browns for 3lb 15oz.to win the comp.hard day in which i dropped 7 fish.

Looking at that weather I would have given up and been long gone, so congratulations on winning you stubborn git. I admire your persistance and never say die attitude in that picture, then again you could simply be mad as a hatter .

Nice example of keeping the rod up when playing a fish. Just high enough to collect 100,000 volts of electricity and despatch it down to earth whilst standing in water. Jim you truly are a mad bloke.

living in scotland you have to fish in these conditions on a regular basis wheres the summer
