Default A claret spinner?

Is this a claret spinner (male)? Clouds of them on the River Hamps today, small buggers, over the bankside vegetation rather than on the water.

Claret spinner looks the best bet Kev, although I don't see any hindwings on it - they have quite large spoon shaped ones. And they are about the size of a LDO (at least around my parts, they are). Was it near slow flowing water? They definitely prefer still and slow moving water......

Looks like one to me. I've only really seen the duns before (or sepia duns).
I think I can see the Hindwings, Scotfly.

Very small river, not too fast. Flies present over the bankside with none on the water itself.

Cheers
