any ideas? i was catching **** loads of these on the river carron a few months back aggressive wee buggers

You mean you were catching lots of them. Picture is pish poor with the flash reflection so hard to say but some info that will help you understand the terminology

sorry mr professional photographer jk it was on my phone and my phone is proper pish cheers anyway guys i now know, ive been catching salmon parr on the tweed then quite a lot i think!

trout parr have red adipose fins ,salmon dont
