here is a picture of a well conditioned rainbow from markle fisheries around 7 -8lb i reckoned,it fought like a b*@*ard too stripping a lot of line from the reel ,i am stupidly covering the tail but you can see a wee bit but take it from me it was a spade



caught it on one of my own nymph patterns too oh yes!
