i went out for a few hours to test a new travel rod(thanks flyonly) and this was the best of four brown trout

i estimate 2lb8oz.safely returned.secret location,dont ask.

A very pretty fish with unusual colouration - very sea trout or Loch Leven like with the silver body and smallish black spots.

i would say loch leven strain.i caught it on a hatching midge pattern i tie
