Default river kelvin trout on the fly

caught these nice fish over the past few day and its made me and my so stephen who is 8 more intrested in what this river has to offer all 3 of the fish were a pound or over with one being a pound and 3 quarters a big trout for this river and very proud i am of it while my son caught his when the river was high my 3 fish over a pound were caught all at recent water levels which ar quite low now.

caught on a clan cheif on the very lower stretches of the kelvin with my in the picture too forgot to remove the fag!!! weight around a pound.

and tech them young as he returns his fish i tech him the preservation of the river and its species.
hope this wets some lines on the kelvin a much forgoten river by the majority of keen fishermen.

Quite possibly the nicest pictures I have seen of Kelvin trout - and a young boy putting that nice trout back.....fantastic !!!

It is I who should be getting tips off you
