Default I wish this was a trout......

........But at 2lb 13oz, this chub went well on the 2wt. As you can see it took a Mohican May, as did three other fish yesterday evening.

It took the fly on a down stream presentation, in the tail of a riffle, so it used the current to it's full advantage. I was fishing down as there is absolutely no other way to fish the section. On the little 6' Superfine it put up a cracking fight.

LM

Oliver Edwards does a terrific tying of this highly regarded fly. If you are interested, do some research and have a go at tying a couple for maybe next years hatch. Not an easy tie but if you continue with your enthusiasm and your skills match, my money is on you turning out a very fishable example.

A great fly!

Default Trout all around, but still I get chub.

Here are another couple that I caught a few hours ago. The top one came in at 2lb 12oz, and the bottom one 3lb 3oz. Both were taken on the Superfine 2wt.
