Smile Cuban Bonefish

Just got back from Cuba and wanted to post a pic of my 1st Cuban fly caught bonefish,had several over the week but this was the best of the bunch,nudging 10lb,they go like trains this one taking 200yds of line on its 1st run

very nice ive only managed fish to about 6 1/2 my self, a double would be fantastic! Well done!

Amazing looking fish, I bet you enjoyed that! One comment, you really should have that rod firmly clamped between your laughing gear, it's de-rigeur for these type of shots

Lovely fish mate. Although I think you are being a bit ambitious with the weight The guides over there always seem to over-estimate weights by some margin. I caught a 4lb fish and a well known guide there estimated it at 6lb+! So I weighed it and showed him. They work in metric in cuba so that might add some confusion?

Where in Cuba did you go?
