Went Down the avon today after school for a few hours as my friend had heard of salmon being caught , so he took his spinning rod and i took the fly rod and sure enough i hooked into a sea trout or possibly a salmon first cast but it got off just as i got it too my feet , about 10 minutes later i hooked into a nice fish and this time got it in it was a nice brownie , probaly one of the nicest ive seen from the avon so the phone was out and a photo was taken Then it was released and swam off quickly

On The Way Home We Passed The Pike Ponds where my friend wanted to try a few casts as i was beating him he had nothing and we were set to go , i asked him for one cast and hooked into my first ever pike i got it in , unhooked it, Took A Pic and let it go again , Even though it was a small jak pike it was still my first ever pike.

Nah It rained a little and it was dull but i wasn't botherd still caught fish

ive fished lake of mentieth with my dad and ive fished fisheries too , ill be back into the lakes and stuff again but , need to practice for a youth competition in august at vennachar

don't worry NickyBatchelor i have just seen you thread when you caught you best trout on a lake at 9.8lb
